South Dakota Hall of Fame Program Spotlight: Acts of Excellence

We want to take a moment to highlight one of our many programs at the South Dakota Hall of Fame, championing a culture of excellence.

The Acts of Excellence program seeks to honor and highlight excellence across the state. This program highlights individuals and groups who are doing amazing things in their communities, to create a true culture of excellence in South Dakota.

Each Acts of Excellence recipient has a feature page on our website where you can read about their Act, and we have begun a whole new video interview series, featuring conversations with recipients in the program.

You can watch this Acts of Excellence spotlight video, featuring DJ Johnston, interviewed for her Act of Excellence in her community of Hill City.

We also host Acts of Excellence events in different locations around the state to bring these individuals together to celebrate all they do to better South Dakota.
